Repackaged installers
Standalone EXE, DMG, APK, and IPA files claiming to be Desktop Mate. The publisher does not distribute the app that way.
Why this guide exists
Search for a Desktop Mate download and the results still mix the real Steam listing with repackaged EXE files, invented Android APKs, and “DLC unlocker” bundles. This site exists to make the real route obvious, and to keep every community file pointed back at the person who made it.
Independent fan resource. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by infiniteloop Co., Ltd., Valve/Steam, or any character rights holder.

THE PROBLEM WE STARTED WITH
Desktop Mate is a free base application published by infiniteloop on Steam under App ID 3301060. Much of what else ranks for its name is something different, and a first-time user has no easy way to tell which is which.
Standalone EXE, DMG, APK, and IPA files claiming to be Desktop Mate. The publisher does not distribute the app that way.
Packages promising paid character DLC for free. These are not official content, and they routinely ask users to disable security software first.
Community models re-uploaded to anonymous file hosts, stripped of the author name, version, license, and removal notes that made them safe to try.
WHAT THIS SITE DOES
This guide hosts nothing. Not the application, not paid DLC, not a single character model. Every download button opens the place the file actually lives: the Steam listing for the base app, the author’s own GitHub release for a tool, or the uploader’s Files tab on Nexus Mods for a character replacement.
That constraint is the whole point. When the source stays visible, you can still read the author’s permissions, see the virus-scan status, check which Desktop Mate build it was made for, and find out how to undo it.

WHAT THIS SITE IS NOT
This is an independent community guide. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or sponsored by infiniteloop Co., Ltd., Valve/Steam, or any character rights holder.
No application, DLC, mod archive, or character model is stored or mirrored here. Rights in every community model stay with its author and the underlying rights owner.
Bugs, billing, and account problems with Desktop Mate itself belong to the publisher and to Steam. We can only help with what is written on these pages.
Product facts are checked against the Steam listing and infiniteloop’s own page. Mod entries are checked against the original repository or Nexus item, with the date of that check printed at the bottom of each page. Desktop Mate updates regularly and a loader that worked last month can break without warning, so pages state what was true at the time of checking rather than promising that anything still works today.
If you find something out of date, wrong, or missing, tell us and it gets fixed. If you authored a mod listed here and want the entry changed or removed, that request is honoured without argument.
