Where Leon S. Kennedy comes from
The character comes from Resident Evil.
Rights in Resident Evil belong to Capcom, who has no involvement in this model, in Desktop Mate, or in this site. The uploader controls the file; Capcom controls the character. Those are two separate permissions, and downloading the file grants you neither.
The listing was last updated on 2025-01-27, before the best-known avatar loader was archived on 2025-12-04. It was therefore built against a toolchain that has had no maintainer since, and Desktop Mate has shipped app updates in the meantime.

Getting it onto your desktop
Desktop Mate has no publisher-supported way to load a community character model, so every model on Nexus depends on the same unmaintained third-party loader. The procedure is identical for all of them and is documented once, in the safe install checklist, rather than repeated on every model page.
Two things specific to Nexus: the file lives behind a login, and many uploaders explicitly forbid re-hosting it elsewhere — which is why the button above opens item 15 instead of serving a copy from here.
