Directory entry
This is an index entry, not a tested build
This page records what Nexus item 28 says about itself and who owns the character. It is not a compatibility test: nobody here has run this model against the current Desktop Mate build, and the page does not claim otherwise.

Where Vatista comes from
The character comes from Under Night In-Birth.
Rights in Under Night In-Birth belong to French-Bread / Arc System Works, who has no involvement in this model, in Desktop Mate, or in this site. The uploader controls the file; French-Bread / Arc System Works controls the character. Those are two separate permissions, and downloading the file grants you neither.
The listing was last updated on 2025-02-04, before the best-known avatar loader was archived on 2025-12-04. It was therefore built against a toolchain that has had no maintainer since, and Desktop Mate has shipped app updates in the meantime.
Other models by this uploader
almagest67 published 5 other models indexed here: Casper Deathsmiles, May Guilty Gear, Hong Meiling, Saber Artoria, Jeanne Alter. Uploaders tend to reuse one workflow, so if one of their models works for you the rest are a reasonable next try.
Getting it onto your desktop
Desktop Mate has no publisher-supported way to load a community character model, so every model on Nexus depends on the same unmaintained third-party loader. The procedure is identical for all of them and is documented once, in the safe install checklist, rather than repeated on every model page.
Two things specific to Nexus: the file lives behind a login, and many uploaders explicitly forbid re-hosting it elsewhere — which is why the button above opens item 28 instead of serving a copy from here. Read the Permissions and credits section on the original page before you edit, convert, stream, or share the model.
